This public trust and engagement is based the organization’s level of accountability.
Charity Star is an independent nonprofit organization working to establish an international standard for NGO accountability. We believe in an open society where access to information is key in building trust and engagement.

( January 22, 2012 ) Tags: Canada, children, christmas, fundraisingCanadians donated 672,274 shoe boxes packed with toys, hygiene items, and school supplies during the 2011 Operation Christmas Child shoe box campaign that ended recently.
